Study: Tripod

The three support points ensured stability, while slightly flared legs converged at a central node. The visible mortise and tenon joints emphasized the structural character. Made of solid ash wood and a robust, weather-resistant oilskin made from recycled denim, the design combined a rigid frame with a flexibly tensioned seat for a slightly inclined, dynamic sitting posture.

However, during the design process, it became apparent that the geometric balance could not be satisfactorily achieved. The shifting of weight resulted in an unstable seating experience, preventing the desired comfort. For this reason, the concept was abandoned in its current form.
